Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey has also jumped into the controversy to support. Jack Dorsey has liked many tweets made on the farmer Protest. One of these tweets praised singer Rihanna’s objection to internet shutdown in Delhi-NCR.
Jack Dorsey has also liked a tweet by Journalist Karen Attiah of the Washington Post. Karen Attiah said in this tweet, ‘Rihanna has raised her voice for social justice Protest in Sudan, Nigeria and now India and Myanmar. She is a real hero.

Jack Dorsey has also liked another tweet by Karen Attiah. In this, Karen Attiah suggested to Twitter that it would be a good time for the social media platform to add a Twitter emoji to farmers’ protests in India, as they did for international protests like ‘Black Lives Matter’.

Questions are arising as to whether Jack Dorsey would like such tweets.

The Indian government has strongly condemned the intervention of foreign celebrities in support of the farmers’ protest. The government said, “The temptation of sensational social media hashtags and comments, especially when resorted to by celebrities and others, is neither accurate nor responsible” by issuing a statement from the Ministry of External Affairs of India that Before commenting on such matters, we would urge that the facts be ascertained and a proper understanding of the issues made.

Many sports celebrities, actors and politicians have raised their objection by tweeting on this issue on foreigners’ interference in internal affairs of the country.
