Microsoft had lately introduced that it was teaming up with Qualcomm to deliver native help for Wi-Fi Dual Station to Windows 11. And now, Qualcomm has stated that the the Wi-Fi Dual Station coupled with its Qualcomm FastConnect 4-stream Dual Band Simultaneous (DBS) can set new benchmarks for low-latency gaming.
Qualcomm stated in the testing carried out by it, with off-the-shelf retail Wi-Fi 6 Access Points, Wi-Fi Dual Station with Qualcomm 4-stream Dual Band Simultaneous persistently delivered sustained jitter free wi-fi gameplay comparable to ethernet latency below the identical situations.
(*11*)Further, in head-to-head wi-fi comparisons with Single Station Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Dual Station yielded 4x decrease latency and sustained jitter-free gameplay.

Reduces dependence on wires
Even occasional excessive latency (jitter) occasions considerably deteriorate on-line recreation play which has traditionally triggered PC avid gamers to keep tethered to ethernet.
Wi-Fi Dual Station with Qualcomm 4-stream Dual Band Simultaneous addresses the necessity for sustained low latency over prolonged intervals of time. The DBS characteristic is exclusive to FastConnect cellular connectivity and has the aptitude of harnessing a number of bands and antennas that ship low latency in gaming.
In different phrases, the characteristic will solely work with gadgets upgraded to Windows 11 and help the Qualcomm FastConnect programs.
By concurrently using the two.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands (or 6 GHz the place out there), latency points might be simply resolved shortly in gaming.

Sustained productiveness for these distant working
Aside from gaming, customers are certain to expertise a greater connection and expertise wire-class responsiveness. Another benefit is that this know-how is anticipated to meet the rising wants of the enterprise PC business equivalent to two-way information visitors (video calls, collaboration instruments, distant administration) and making certain sustained productiveness whether or not in a centralized workplace or decentralized distant work surroundings.
