Windows 11 is ready to learn from a bit more visual sparkle as Microsoft is reportedly extending the ‘Mica’ effect to more apps within the OS.Windows Latest noticed this one, and for the uninitiated, the Mica theme is an opaque effect that’s utilized to home windows and title bars, so you may see the desktop wallpaper by it. While it’s a fancy translucent effect, the distinction is refined, and as Microsoft explains it “only samples the desktop wallpaper once to create its visualization”.
