In 2020, Amazon Prime Video handled us with Unpaused – an anthology of 5 brief tales revolving across the change caused by the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic. The 5 tales had been about survival, love, hope and human bonds in a world that was introduced right down to its knees as a result of virus. Taking a leaf from that, the anthology’s sequel is all set to return this month with 5 new filmmakers bringing 5 new tales. Titled Unpaused: Naya Safar, the anthology sequel will showcase 5 distinctive tales that present a window into how the Covid-19 pandemic modified us, making us worth life and feelings greater than ever. Vignettes of uncooked human feelings like love, longing, concern and friendship can be dropped at life by filmmakers reminiscent of Shikha Makan, Ruchir Arun, Nupur Asthana, Ayappa KM and Nagraj Manjule.This time round, an ensemble solid starring Saqib Saleem, Shreya Dhanwanthary, Neena Kulkarni and Priyanshu Painyuli amongst others will function throughout the 5 tales. The anthology will start streaming from 21 January, 2023.
