UAE: Mohammed bin Rashid issues law for CEOs, DGs in Dubai Government

Dubai: His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, issued Legislation No. (8) of 2021 on the Dubai Authorities’s Human Assets Administration for Chief Govt Officers.

Sheikh Mohammed additionally issued Legislation No. (10) of 2021 partially amending Legislation No. (8) of 2013 regarding Dubai Authorities’s Human Assets Administration for Director Generals. In line with Legislation No. (8) of 2021, the CEO is appointed by a decision issued by the Chairman of the Govt Council of Dubai. The Legislation additionally specifies the monetary advantages, efficiency indicators and holidays for CEOs and the procedures for his or her transfers and secondment.
