State COVID-19 hotline connects businesses, homebound individuals with mobile vaccination teams

AUSTIN (KXAN) — Texas is bringing cellular vaccination groups on to companies, organizations and homebound people to make it simpler for folks to get vaccinated for COVID-19.

Texas launched a state name heart Friday at 8 a.m. to assist companies and organizations schedule a go to with a cellular crew. These keen on setting one up can name (844) 90-TEXAS and choose choice 3. They should have not less than 10 people who need to be vaccinated to qualify.

People who find themselves homebound can even name the hotline and select choice 1 to ask a state cellular vaccination crew for a house go to.

Gov. Greg Abbott and the Texas Division of Emergency Administration first launched this system as a pilot in January to succeed in underserved areas within the state. Since then, the tasks of the groups, that are made up of Texas Nationwide Guard members, have elevated throughout the state.
