Actress Sanchita Shetty has spoken out after an alleged nude video, claimed to be leaked from a hacked Twitter account, went viral over the weekend. At first, she chose to remain silent, not wanting to “aggravate the issue.” But as the clip spread across social media and even made national headlines, she decided to set the record straight.
“I want to clarify that it isn’t me and request people not to spread such stuff through social media,” she said.
Family Support During the Storm
The actress admitted the hardest part was seeing her family dragged into the controversy.
“What hurt me most is that this doesn’t involve only me. My family is also affected. Luckily, my parents and family have stood by me and expressed their faith in me.”
Despite the chaos, Sanchita said the issue doesn’t bother her much because she knows the truth.
