So it was no wonder that the first show of the first day was in theaters and that too with the majority of the college audiences. What stood out was that the crowd this time was mostly made up of college girls.
Indeed, the trailer of the film showed a story about a girls hostel. Usually, Malayalam cinema tells the story from the perspective of a male hostel.
While the basic plot is a campus love story by Sharanya (Anaswara Rajan), it also does a good job of capturing the bond between the four roommates, friendship, humor and everything else needed for a campus movie.

While Anaswara has completely perfected her character as a village girl from Palakkad who comes to a university far away in Thrissur, Mamitha Baiju as Sona makes the movie a fun watch. Sona is the town girl from Kochi, the self-proclaimed protector and guardian of the village girl Sharanya.
It’s the way Girish defined each character in the movie that makes it interesting.
