Mohan Yadav is an Indian politician from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the 19th Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh. He took office on 13 December 2023 and represents the Ujjain South constituency.

Education and early career
Yadav studied at Vikram University in Ujjain, where he earned a B.Sc., an LLB, an M.A. and an MBA, and later a PhD. Before politics he worked as a lawyer and a businessperson.

Political career
- 2013: first elected to the Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly from Ujjain South, with 73,108 votes (51.64%).
- 2018: re-elected with 78,178 votes (46.71%).
- 2020–2023: Minister of Higher Education, from 2 July 2020 to 11 December 2023.
- 2023: re-elected with 95,699 votes (52.08%), then became Chief Minister on 13 December 2023.
Family
He is married to Seema Yadav and they have three children.
