Thalapathy 67 title is “Leo” (Tagline – Bloody Sweet). It is the much-anticipated film starring Thalapathy Vijay, Sanjay Dutt, Trisha, and Arjun in the lead roles. Leo film was written and directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. It is the 67th film of actor Vijay. It was bankrolled by Lalit Kuvijmar and Jagadish. The film was shot in Kodaikanal and Kashmir. The blockbuster trio Vijay, Lokesh Kanagaraj, and Anirudh are joining once again after Master. Leo movie will be released in languages like Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, and Kannada.

Leo Release Date

Leo movie will hit the screens on 19th October 2023 worldwide. The film is scheduled to release on the occasion of Ayudha Pooja. As per the makers, the film wraps at the end of June 2023.

It is also touted that there will be a surprising cameo in the film. Sources say Chiyaan Vikram plays an antagonist role in the film where he will be arriving in the end like Suriya (Rolex in Vikram) in the previous film of Lokesh.

Leo is LCU or Standalone?

Leo is a standalone film, but some sources said it might be a parallel universe of LCU. Going through the Leo movie cast [George Maryan (Napoleon from Kaithi) and Vasanthi (Agent Tina) from Vikram], the film seems to be under Lokesh Cinematic Universe. Let’s wait for the official confirmation.

Leo Story & Genre

Leo “Bloody Sweet” is a complete action thriller drama, Vijay plays a gangster role in the film. The film is said to be an adapted version of the Hollywood film A History of Violence.

Anirudh composes the background score and songs. The audio rights of the Bloody Sweet Leo movie were bagged by Sony Music South. You can listen to Thalapathy 67 Leo songs mp3 on all official audio platforms like Wynk, Spotify, Gaana, Youtube music, and more. The videos will be released only on the Sony Music South youtube channel.

Leo On TV

The satellite rights of the film were grabbed by SUN TV. The leading channel will telecast the film during the festive season. It is expected that the film will be aired on TV during Pongal 2024.

Leo Budget

The makers didn’t disclose any estimated budget for the film. As per the close sources, movie budget is expected to be around 250 crores.

The title announcement video was released on 3rd February 2023. It gardened more than 2 million views on youtube in two hours. The one-minute video shows Vijay making a sweet while simultaneously forging a sword in a chocolate factory in Kashmir. The teaser ends with a punch dialogue, “Bloody Sweet.”

Leo movie online streaming rights were bagged by streaming giant Netflix. It is said that ott has acquired the film for a whopping price. Netflix streams Vijay’s Leo movie online after 45 days of its theatrical running.
