Kerala Police on Thursday arrested two youths of their early twenties for allegedly morphing Malayalam actor Praveena’s pictures and circulating them online.
Thiruvananthapuram metropolis police commissioner Balram Upadhyay confirmed the arrest of the 2 youths in reference to the incident. (*2*) stated Balaram Upadhyay.
One of the arrested youth has been recognized as Bhayaraj. Police didn't reveal the title of the opposite.
According to Kerala Police, actor Praveena filed a criticism {that a} faux social media account has been created in her title and morphed pictures are being circulated on the web.
“Soon after a complaint was received by the Cyber Crime Branch of the Kerala Police, an FIR was registered and an investigation team was formed to probe the case and nab the miscreants behind the act,” stated a senior police officer posted at Kerala Police headquarters.
According to the officer, the investigative group was led by the Thiruvananthapuram metropolis police commissioner. The group consisted of Cyber Crime Police Assistant Commissioner T Shyamlal, Inspector SP Prakash, SI R Manu, Police officer VS Bineesh, AS Sameer Khan and S Mini.
According to the criticism, within the morphed pictures, she was proven together with her co-actor in compromising positions.
The actor is presently working within the TV series Raja Rani 2, which airs on Vijay TV. Praveen is enjoying the lead actor’s mom within the television series. In her criticism to the police, she stated that the miscreants morphed her pictures together with her reel son and circulated them on the web.
In her criticism, Praveena additionally talked about {that a} mysterious individual was following her on Instagram and sending her messages and images and even harassing her relations and mates.
She additional stated that she had warned the miscreant that she would file a criticism with the police if he didn't cease harassing her.
