Amazon’s new Fallout TV show has debuted, receiving positive reviews from fans. It seems that interest is now spiking in the source material, with the games popularity nearly doubling over the last week. The player count for every game is rising as more people suit up and venture deep into the vaults of the wasteland.

Fallout: New Vegas has Recorded 10,000 Concurrent Players

Over the last few days, New Vegas has recorded 10,000 concurrent players. The game has a gambling-centric theme, with players navigating the former city of Las Vegas in the year 2281. Although the city is a far cry from what it was, players still have the chance to play classic games, such as roulette, in the wasteland. It was here where they were forced to live their lives under the surface, creating societies, factions, and laws to govern the people who lived there. As time went on, the surface became more hospitable, leading to life returning to the wasteland, as well as some interesting, radiation-ridden characters.
