Doctor is an upcoming Tamil movie starring Sivakarthikeyan in the lead role. The film was written and directed by Nelson Dilipkumar of Kolamaavu Kokila fame. The film will have music by Anirudh Ravichander. The film is slated to be released on 26 March 2021.

The film stars actress Priyanka Mohan of Gang Leader fame as the female lead. Doctor Tamil movie also features Kavin of Bigg Boss fame, Darshan of Kanaa fame, Yogi Babu, and Vinay in the important roles.

It is slated to be released on Summer 2021 theatrically worldwide. Post theatrical release Satellite rights signed by Sun TV and Digital rights were acquired by Netflix.

Nelson Dilipkumar says, “It is an action-comedy; one half of the film will take place in Chennai and the other half will be set in Goa. The reason we titled it Doctor is because the film has elements that are related to doctors. Siva will sport a new look and has knocked off some kilos, too.”

The Doctor film was jointly presented by SK Productions and KJR studios. Sivakarthikeyan’s Hero movie was produced by KJR Studios. SK productions fourth film after Kanaa, Nenjam Undu Nermai Undu Odu Raja, and Vaazhl.
