Air India chairman N Chandrasekaran has reshuffled the airline's administration

Air India Chairman N Chandrasekaran Friday effected a serious reshuffle within the high administration of recently-acquired airline, with Nipun Aggarwal appointed as Chief Commercial Officer and Suresh Dutt Tripathi as Chief Human Resources Officer.

Mr Aggarwal, who can also be Senior Vice President at Tata Sons, replaces Air India veteran Meenakshi Malik, whereas Mr Tripathi, who was Vice President of Human Resources at Tata Steel from 2012 to 2021, succeeds Amrita Sharan.

The order was issued by Mr Chandrasekaran, who can also be the chairman of Tata Sons.

Ms Malik and Ms Sharan have been on Friday appointed as Advisors to the CEO of Air India, in response to an organization communication.

As the Tata Group is but to nominate the CEO of Air India, Ms Malik and Ms Sharan will at present be advisors to Mr Chandrasekaran, it talked about.
