Why do 70% of Singaporean professionals truly miss going to the workplace?

The pandemic has compelled a shift in Singaporean workplace tradition, limiting precise in-office work and permitting extra staff to make money working from home.

The business-to-business arm of espresso model Nespresso used a respondent pool of 1,000 Singaporean working professionals for its Way forward for Office examine.

"It’s amazing to be able to tap into digital and virtual working spaces and environments but sometimes we just miss getting together in the office pantry and bonding over a cup of good coffee or laughing at a silly joke together. Coffeee apart, 59% of the respondents imagine that the office shouldn't be restricted to a bodily workplace, nevertheless 45% cite the necessity to create a separate work and dwelling atmosphere to focus.

Timed espresso breaks have been one of many methods staff have managed to focus, with 68% saying that it's basic to their work routine.

4 out of 5 of the respondents stated the workplace area fostered a way of belonging and objective, whereas 61% admitted to feeling much less linked to their colleagues as work-from-home continued to be the norm.
