Virat Kohli’s wicket-taker will get a spot within the day-night apply match squad

Sydney: The Indian team will play a practice match before the Day-Night Test match played in Adelaide against Australia. This match played on 11 December is considered important for the preparation of Team India. However, Indian captain Virat Kohli is yet to be decided to play in this match. All the other important players will play in this match of three days.

The Australia-A squad was announced for the three-day day-night warm-up match against India in Sydney from 11 December. Alex Carey was named captain of the 12-man squad. The first practice match played in Sydney between India and Australia was held from 6 to 8 December.

In the Australia-A 12-man squad, five players played in the first practice match were given a chance. It features Joe Burns, Cameron Green, Marcus Harris, Nick Maddinson, and Mark Steketee. Apart from these players, captain Alex Carey, Sean Abbott, Harry Conway, Moises Henriques, Ben McDermott, Will Sutherland and Mitchell Swepson were included. Swepson took the wicket of Indian captain Virat Kohli in the first T20 match. He was caught by Kohli on his own ball.

In the first practice match, Cameron Green performed well for Australia-A and scored 125 runs in the first innings. Apart from him, Mark Steketee had bowled brilliantly in the second innings of the Indian team and took five wickets.
