UPSC NDA is one of the most competitive and popular entrance exams in the country. Every year candidates apply for this exam to secure admission in Navy, Army, Navy Academy, and Air Force Cadets of NDA with the intention to join the Indian Defence Force and serve the nation. NDA exam is the gateway to the most reputed jobs along with the attractive UPSC NDA Salary Package. The selection of the candidates is done based on their intelligence, confidence, and physical entrance. NDA Selection Process is administered in two rounds that are Written Exam & SSB Interview. The aspirants are required to excel in both rounds to secure admission to the Defence force. Eligibility Criteria:

Eligibility Criteria are considered as a very important factor while applying for any exam. Without fulfilling the key components of the UPSC NDA Eligibility Criteria, no candidates will be allowed to appear for the exam. There are two major factors that are responsible for determining the eligibility criteria of the NDA exam are Age limit & Educational Qualification. The age limit of the candidates should be between 16-19 years and they should have passed the 12th Standard to apply for the exam.

UPSC NDA Application Process

After checking the eligibility criteria, the eligible and interested candidates move further to fill up the UPSC NDA Application Form on the official website. The candidates need to fill up the required details in the application form along with the fee payment of Rs 100 via online or offline mode. The list of rejected candidates is released by the commission soon after the completion of the application process. In addition to this, the link to withdraw the application form is also activated for a limited period of time for the candidates who don’t want to appear for the exam.

Admit Card

The NDA Admit Card will be declared a few weeks before the commencement of the exam. Candidates can download the hall ticket from the official website with the help of accurate login details. They will not receive a hard copy of the admit card from the post or courier. Besides, it is mandatory to carry NDA Admit Card in order to appear for the exam.

UPSC NDA Written Exam

All the registered candidates will be required to appear for the written exam on the specified date. There are two sections in the written exam i.e Mathematics and General Ability Test. The overall mark of the written exam is 900. Only the candidates who secure minimum qualifying marks in the written exam round will be eligible to appear for SSB Interview.

SSB Interview

After qualifying in the written exam, the selected candidate is called for the SSB Interview round. The interview round mainly assesses the personal background, intelligence, and psychological aptitude of the candidates. There are two stages in the SSB Interview Round. Only the candidates who qualify both the stages of the interview round will be called with the relevant and valid documents for the verification process.

UPSC NDA Final Result

The candidates are selected for admission in the Navy, Army, Navy Academy, and Air Force Cadets of NDA on the basis of their performance in the written exam and SSB interview round. The final selection of the candidates depends on the availability of the vacancies, NDA eligibility, medical fitness, merit-cum-choice of the candidates.
