Abu Dhabi: His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Government Workplace, on Sunday ordered housing loans value Dh2.21 billion for residents.

The transfer is in step with the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, coinciding with Eid Al Fitr.

The housing loans will likely be distributed to residents in Abu Dhabi, whereas retirees and households of deceased mortgagors will likely be exempt from mortgage repayments.

A complete of 1,656 residents will profit from the initiative.

The noble initiative is available in implementation of Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed’s directives as a part of the “Ghadan 21, Abu Dhabi’s accelerator programme, to extend house loans for Emiratis.
