Fast bowler Tim Southee has become New Zealand’s third bowler to take 300 wickets in Test cricket. Southee achieved this feat on Tuesday, the fourth day of the first Test match against Pakistan at the Bay Oval ground in Mount Maunganui.
Southee became the 34th bowler in the world to complete 300 wickets in Test cricket. Southee achieved this feat in his 76th Test. New Zealand’s all-rounder Sir Richard Hadlee took 431 wickets in 86 Tests and left-arm spinner Daniel Vettori took 361 wickets in 112 Tests.
