Ajay Devgn Films and Anand Pandit Motion Pictures’ The Big Bull is based on the life of stockbroker Harshad Mehta, also known as the Big Bull. Hemant Shah (Abhishek Bachchan) comes from a lower middle class family, but he dreams very, very big. He is in a hurry to become a rich man.

About Harshad Mehta:

Harshad Mehta was born in 1954 into an extremely inadequate family. He completed his schooling in Raipur and he was also a really average student. Mehta’s participation in the Indian security and securities scam in 1992 made him notorious as a market manipulator. Although, as reported by the Economic Times, some economists believe that Harshad Mehta did not commit fraud, he had only taken advantage of loopholes in the system. his death at the age of 47 in 2001. It alleges that Mehta has made a substantial provision adjustment scheme funded by useless invoices from financial institutions.
