Singapore reports 1,931 new COVID-19 cases and 13 more deaths; ICU utilisation rate falls further

HOSPITALISATIONS

A complete of 1,367 cases are warded in hospital, mentioned MOH. Among them, 199 require oxygen supplementation on the whole wards, 40 sufferers are unstable and below shut monitoring within the ICU, and 60 are critically ailing and intubated. A complete of two,533 cases had been discharged over the previous day, of whom 349 are seniors aged 60 and above.  As of (*13*), 94 per cent of the eligible inhabitants – these aged 12 and above – have accomplished their full routine or obtained two doses of COVID-19 vaccines. CLUSTERS

MOH mentioned it’s “closely monitoring” six massive clusters, together with one pre-school and 4 nursing houses.  The Institute of Mental Health cluster recorded one new case, bringing the full variety of COVID-19 infections to 430. Twenty-eight of them are workers and 402 are residents, mentioned MOH.
