Singapore reports 1,782 new COVID-19 cases and 5 deaths; ICU utilisation rate at 55.2%

HOSPITALISATIONS

A complete of 1,389 cases have been warded in hospital, stated MOH. Among them, 205 require oxygen supplementation usually wards, 28 sufferers have been unstable and underneath shut monitoring within the ICU, and 64 have been critically sick and intubated.A complete of 1,778 cases have been discharged over the previous day, of whom 304 have been seniors aged 60 and above. As of Monday, 94 per cent of the eligible inhabitants - these aged 12 and above - have accomplished their full routine or obtained two doses of COVID-19 vaccines. About 24 per cent have obtained their booster pictures. Of the 76,158 COVID-19 cases during the last 28 days, 98.7 per cent had gentle signs or have been asymptomatic, 0.8 per cent required oxygen supplementation within the basic ward, 0.2 per cent have been within the ICU and 0.2 per cent died.
