SINGAPORE: The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) will sound the "Important Message" sign by the public warning system at 6.20pm on Sep 15.
"Do not be alarmed by the minute-long sounding exercise," SCDF mentioned in a information launch on Thursday (Sep 9).

Those who've the SGSecure app on their cellphones may even hear the sign on their gadgets if they don't seem to be on silent or vibration mode.
The sign will cease as soon as the message is acknowledged or after 20 seconds, SCDF mentioned.
This shall be adopted by a quick textual content on the sounding of the public warning system, which takes place yearly.
