Saskatchewan surpasses 75k vaccines given, reports five COVID-19 related deaths

After administering 5,211 COVID-19 vaccines on Friday, a complete of 75,501 vaccines have been administered in complete in Saskatchewan.

A complete of 1,202 vaccines had been administered within the central east zone on Friday. The remaining doses had been administered in Saskatoon (254), Regina (286), far north west (33), north central (869), north west (918), central west (403), south east (570) and south west (676) zones.

In line with Saskatchewan authorities officers, 50,910 first doses of the vaccine have been administered within the province and 24,591 second doses have been given.

On Saturday, Saskatchewan added 162 novel coronavirus infections and reported 5 new deaths.

The residents who examined optimistic for COVID-19 and died had been all 80 and over. Three deaths had been reported in Regina, one in Saskatoon, and one within the south east.

Regina reported the best quantity of recent instances with 52, whereas Saskatoon adopted behind with 23 new instances.
