Rajinikanth’s Peddanna Coming to Gemini TV on January 15



Superstar Rajinikanth’s just lately launched Annaatthe raked in over Rs 200 crore on the field workplace. After the theatrical launch Pedanna was launched on OTT platform Sun Nxt within the final week of November. Now the film is ready for TV premiere. According to reviews, Pedanna might be aired on Gemini TV on January 15, on the event of Sankranthi competition.

Peddanna raised Rs 4.03 Cr on the field workplace in two Telugu talking states-Andhra Pradesh and Telangana-after a run of 9 days, as per reviews. The rights for the Telugu model of the film had been acquired at Rs 12 crore. Given the Superstar Rajinikanth’s reputation amongst Telugu viewers the sum is paltry. But the film couldn’t even acquire the quantity on the field workplace.

(*15*)This will not be the primary time a Rajinikanth film has bombed on the field workplace in Telugu movie trade. After the celebrity’s 2010 blockbuster Robo, the Telugu remake of Enthiran, different Rajinikanth films haven't been obtained nicely by the Telugu viewers.

The movie obtained harsh criticism for its over-the-top melodrama and old-school brother-and-sister bonding plot. In the movie, Keerthy Suresh portrays Rajinikanth’s sister whereas Nayanthara performs the feminine lead reverse Rajinikanth.

The film has been directed by filmmaker Siva. This film marked Rajinikanth’s first collaboration with him. The film produced underneath the banner of Sun Pictures has Khushbu, Meena, Jagapathi Babu, Soori, Sathish and Abhimanyu in pivotal roles together with Prakash Raj.
