The Pizza Hut Owner and Co-Founder Frank Carney passed away at the age of 82 on Wednesday night. He dies nearly at 4:30 AM at his living facility resident Wichita, said his brother and wife. Carney was also suffering from Covid-19 and recently, recovered from it but found himself an Alzheimer’s disease.

He started his business with his brother Dan in 1958 in Wichita, Kansas. The name of the company is known as Pizza Hut. The company is mainly known for its Italian American cuisine with Pizza and Pasta including side dishes and desserts. The company was started with a minor shop and made a huge business worldwide. Now, Pizza Hut has 18,703 restaurants worldwide, which was recorded last of 31st Of December, 2019. The company became the largest pizzas chained in the world in terms of their locations. It also collaborated with Yum! Brands, Inc, is one of the largest restaurant companies in India.

Life Of Frank Carney:

He was born on the 26th of April, 1938 in Wichita, Kansas. Carney was a 19 years old student when he studied at Wichita State University. He started his business with brother Dan in 1958. They borrowed $600 from their mother to start a pizza business near their family market Carneys.

They learned the pizza quickly and then, started the business. The first shop was opened in Topeka, Kansas in 1959. The first delivery got from the Aggieville to Pizza Hut. By 1977, they grew 4,000 outlets and then his brother Dan, decided to sell the business to Pepsico with the project money of $300 million USD.

Then, Frank took a franchisee of Papa John’s Pizza in 1994. Then by 2001, he owned 133 locations and runs the stores in areas like Arizona, Missouri, California, Texas, Hawaii, and Kansas.

Frank also the former president of the Wichita Area Chamber and International Financial Association. The industry honoured him with Silver Plate Award in 1975 from International Foodservice Manufacturers Association, and then, he got 1974 Man Of The Year in the Multi-Unit Foodservice Organization. He also became an IFA Hall Of Fame in 1991.

Then, he found in 2009 that he is suffering from Alzheimer’s disease. And took his last breath on the 3rd of December,2020.
