The SLS is meant to energy the subsequent U.S. moon mission, Artemis I, in November. Artemis I can be an uncrewed mission, serving to set the stage for Artemis III, the scheduled 2024 mission that goals to place the primary lady on the moon and return people to the lunar floor for the primary time since 1972.
