Pratapgarh: Police have arrested the main accused who had been absconding in an MD drugs factory case under Operation Trinetra, officials said, revealing that the accused studied the narcotics network in major city clubs before setting up his own manufacturing unit to repay family debt.
Police arrested Shreyansh alias Yash Mogra, absconding accused in an illegal MD manufacturing case worth Rs 5 crore. Acting under SP B Aditya, Arnod SHO Shivalal Meena led the operation.
Earlier, police seized 106 grams of MD, over 114 kg of liquid chemicals and equipment from a factory on Water Works Road. Three accused were arrested then. Investigation revealed Shreyansh learned drug production online and procured chemicals to run the unit locally. He is now in custody.
