Thiruvananthapuram, July 26: As a part of Kargil Vijay Diwas celebrations, the Pangode Army Station right here on Tuesday organised a novel tribute to the Late Captain Vikram Batra.

A 1500 sq ft underwater portrait of the conflict hero was made by artist Davinchi Suresh.

Kargil Vijay Diwas is commemorated yearly on July 26 to mark India's Victory over Pakistan within the Kargil Struggle. The day is devoted to the everlasting reminiscence of the Fallen Heroes of Kargil Struggle.

The biggest underwater portrait of Captain Vikram Batra created at Pangode Army Station secured the URF World Information (Common Information Discussion board).

The World File Certificates was awarded by the URF authorities through the occasion.

The artist took eight hours to finish the distinctive 1500 sq ft underwater set up.
