Kargil Vijay Diwas 2021: Uttarakhand Govt Increases Monthly Pension From Rs 8,000 to Rs 10,000 of World War 2 Soldiers, Widows


Dehradun, July 26: Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Monday elevated the month-to-month pension given to veterans of World War 2 and wives of the troopers who died through the battle from Rs 8,000 to Rs 10,000.

Making the announcement on Kargil Vijay Diwas, Dhami mentioned 800 households within the state will get the advantages of it.

Financial help of Rs 50,000 might be given to candidates who move NDA and CDS written exams to assist them put together for the viva, he mentioned. However, it will likely be given on the premise of the financial situation of the households of such candidates, the chief minister mentioned.

A hostel meant for the kids of defence personnel pursuing research might be in-built Haldwani and ceremonies held in each Garhwal and Kumaon areas to honour “vir naris” and troopers conferred with bravery awards.
