MONTGOMERY COUNTY (CBSDFW.COM) – A house owner shot and killed a 23-year-old man who he caught breaking into his automobile on Sept 2. in Montgomery County.
Detectives stated it occurred within the 22700 block of Adrift Row Lane in Porter, Texas. The house owner instructed them he obtained an alarm indicating movement in his driveway at 9 p.m. Upon going outdoors, he found the suspect inside his automobile. At gunpoint, the house owner ordered the person to get out. But the suspect refused to adjust to the house owner’s directions and stated, “I’m not going back to prison.” Police stated he then grew to become uncooperative and aggressive. During the altercation, the house owner discharged his firearm, placing the suspect. The suspect was pronounced deceased upon the arrival of medical workers.
The circumstances surrounding the discharge of the firearm are at present below investigation by a number of regulation enforcement companies together with MCTXSheriff, Texas Rangers and the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office, and no additional particulars can be found presently.
