Government Releases Revenue Deficit Grant For 17 States

Government has launched the seventh instalment of put up devolution income deficit grant to states

The Finance Ministry has launched the month-to-month instalment of Rs 9,871 crore to 17 states underneath the put up devolution income deficit (PDRD) grant as really useful by the 15^th Finance (*17*).

The states that are eligible for this grant embrace Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Punjab, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu and West Bengal amongst others.

The PDRD grant is given to states as per the provisions of Article 275 of the Constitution, to assist them meet the hole between evaluation of income and expenditure.
