German ISIS bride sentenced over death of Yazidi girl left to die in sun

The girl's mom was the primary witness on the trial and was in the courtroom when the judgment was handed down, in accordance to a press release from her authorized staff, which included human rights lawyer Amal Clooney.

The girl's legal professionals mentioned the defendant "is believed to be the first ISIS member who was put on trial anywhere in the world for international crimes committed against Yazidi victims."

The trial lasted 77 days. Jennifer W. had denied the fees and her protection staff now has per week to file an enchantment with the German Attorney General's Office.
