Filmmaker Baz Luhrmann’s Elvis Presley biopic has been delayed until 2023, Warner Bros has introduced.

Titled Elvis, the much-awaited film will function actor Austin Butler because the King of Rock and Roll and Hollywood veteran Tom Hanks as Presley’s supervisor Colonel Tom Parker.

The movie, which was earlier scheduled to open on November 5 this 12 months, will now launch in theatres on June 3, 2023, as per The Hollywood Reporter.

Elvis delves into the advanced dynamic between Presley and Parker spanning over 20 years, from the musician’s rise to fame to his unprecedented stardom, towards the backdrop of the evolving cultural panorama and lack of innocence in America.

The film, written by Luhrmann and Craig Pearce, may even function Olivia DeJonge as Priscilla Presley.

David Wenham, Richard Roxburgh, Dacre Montgomery and Helen Thomson spherical out the solid.

Luhrmann is producing the function together with his spouse Catherine Martin, Gail Berman, Patrick McCormick and Schulyer Weiss.
