You can bet this classic hit movie will be right at the top of our list of the best Dreamworks movies. Whether you still love movies or are pretty sick of them, you have to admit it Shrek still remains an important part of pop culture and animation films. The Shrek series is perfect satire and has everything from fairytale novels to hilarious jokes and iconic quotes.

For those who live under a rock and have never heard of this absolute classic, Shrek is centered around an ogre and told in a fairytale tone. The bogeyman, named Shrek, prefers to live in seclusion until one day a group of annoying fairytale characters invade his beloved swamp household over the new sayings of the evil Lord Farquaad. From there, Shrek strikes a deal with Farquaad to save a princess so that he can regain his privacy.

Shrek was such a hit that Dreamworks even decided to make three more movies in the series, including Shrek 2Shrek the third, and Shrek forever after that. The films feature an all-star cast of voice actors and actresses, including Mike Myers, Eddie Murphy, Cameron Diaz, and more. Plus, the series just turned 20 years old recently, so of course we should celebrate that by revisiting these classic films.
