The latest Telugu movie Chanakya starring Gopichand has hit the screens today. Let’s have a look at the review of the movie. The last few of Gopichand’s films have failed terribly at the box office. His last Pantham outing was a disaster. The actor is in dire need of a hit to keep his industry presence alive as a mass hero.

Gopichand has been struggling in the industry for quite some time. The actor had a good release with Goutham Nanda in 2017, but all the other movies released recently have not fared well. His film with Nayanathara, which caused some vibes, was also taken off the shelf. Chanakya is his only hope of getting back on track this year.

The film features Mehreen Pirzada as the female lead opposite Gopichand. This is their second movie together. Gopichand has a beard look in this movie and looks very stylish in the trailer.

Chanakya is directed by Tamil director Thiru and marks his debut in the Telugu film industry. Produced by Rama Brahman Sunkara, the film’s music is done by Vishal Chandrasekhar. The cinematography was created by Vetri Palanisamy and the story and screenplay were written by Thiru.

Bollywood actors such as Upen Patel and Rajesh Khattar come to the cast of the film and play the negative roles in the film. Popular Hindi actress Zareen Khan debuts this film with a pivotal role in Telugu film industry. Actors like Arun Kumar also play a supporting role in this film.

The film’s story is about a RAW agent Arjun Rajput, played by Gopichand, who is assigned to conduct operations in Pakistan on behalf of India. The trailer for the film was released on September 26.

Chanakya Movie Review

Gopichand comes with another impressive film. Gopichand plays an inmate RAW agent and puts in a great performance. His character is filled with swag, power and strong motif. He only wants the best for his country.

Both the female protagonists Mehreen Pirzada and Zareen Khan do their characters full justice. Director Thiru should be appreciated for handling all of the film’s crafts and doing full justice to the characters and story.

The music and cinematography deserve special mention. The background score and action scenes are the main assets of the film. Even the screenplay of the movie is poignant and it knows how to keep you engaged everywhere.

Overall, it’s a good action thriller that you should watch on the big screen. Otherwise, you will regret not watching it on a big screen when it comes to online platforms and on TV.
