Stock Market Holiday: BSE, NSE To Remain Closed On Account Of Guru Nanak Jayanti

Guru Nanak Jayanti is the final inventory market vacation in 2021.

New Delhi: Domestic inventory markets (BSE and NSE) will stay closed on Friday on the event of Guru Nanak Jayanti. According to the checklist of this 12 months's inventory market holidays, buying and selling in fairness, spinoff and SLB segments will stay suspended. Also, there might be no motion in foreign money derivatives and rate of interest derivatives segments.Trading on the commodity phase will even stay suspended within the morning session from 9 am to five pm. However, it should stay open within the night session from 5 pm.This is third market vacation in November this 12 months as per the BSE vacation checklist. Trading periods had been closed on November 4 and 5 on account of Diwali Laxmi Pujan and Diwali Balipratipada respectively.Guru Nanak Jayanti is the final inventory market vacation in 2021.On Thursday, fairness indices had ended decrease for the third consecutive session. NSE Nifty had closed 133 factors down at 17,764; whereas BSE Sensex had dropped 372 factors to settle at at 59,636.
