Addressing the leak, Nvidia issued an announcement to verify that whereas the leak was actual, the inclusion of any sport on it doesn’t imply something. Nvidia informed Wccftech: “Nvidia is aware of an unauthorized published game list, with both released and/or speculative titles, used only for internal tracking and testing. Inclusion on the list is neither confirmation nor an announcement of any game.
“Nvidia took immediate action to remove access to the list. No confidential game builds or personal information were exposed.”
Since the leak happened, 343 Industries has stepped ahead to say {that a} itemizing for Halo 5 on PC was incorrect and that the sport won't come to the platform which is pretty much as good an indication as any that a lot of the video games that appeared on the checklist (or any launch dates tied to them) ought to be taken with a pinch of salt.
The final we heard was in a Take-Two monetary report in early 2020 which stated the subsequent BioShock “will be in development for the next several years“. However, we can’t be sure until something official is announced.
Unreal Engine 5
A recent job listing at Cloud Chamber games, developers of BioShock 4, suggests the team could be developing the game using Epic’s Unreal Engine 5. If BioShock 4 is being developed utilizing Epic’s newest, subsequent-gen engine it bodes nicely for a way the sport will look as Epic’s latest demo footage of the engine in use on PS5 and Xbox Series X was very spectacular.
A doable PS5 unique?
There’s a rumor going round (through ComicBook) that Sony might be pursuing BioShock 4 as a PS5 unique in some capability, whether or not outright or timed.
On an episode of the Xbox Era podcast, host Nick “Shpeshal_Ed” Baker stated that he has heard from unnamed sources that Sony goes after BioShock 4 as a PlayStation unique. According to Baker, he wasn't given many particulars about the present state of affairs and couldn’t say for sure whether or not any deal being made would make the sport an outright unique or a timed unique, although he did say he would assume the latter.

Clues given by extra job listings level to a new setting
When you’re wanting formal bulletins about a sport, typically there are issues to be gleaned from its job listings. As identified by MauroNL “Several job listings ask: ‘we want you to help us breathe life into a new and fantastical world.’, which suggests the game having a new setting and not a return to Rapture or Columbia. ‘Together, we will set the stage for a stunning narrative and systems-driven experience’.”
While this clearly isn’t a affirmation on the place the sport is – or isn’t – set, it actually does recommend that BioShock 4 will take us someplace new, which wouldn’t be an unwelcome change and would permit Cloud Chamber Games to essentially make its mark on the BioShock universe.
Take-Two monetary report
Take-Two Interactive just lately printed a monetary report which makes a point out of BioShock 4. A really small point out however a point out nonetheless. According to this report, it will be fairly some time earlier than we see BioShock 4 because it "will be in development for the next several years". This is just about as anticipated—though it was reported that the sport has been in the works for years, it was additionally famous that its improvement has been rebooted in that point so it is unsurprising that it may be a couple of extra years earlier than we get to play it. Nonetheless, it is at all times good to handle expectations.
Job listings

Return to Rapture
While it was good to enterprise out of the underwater metropolis of Rapture in BioShock: Infinite, it did not fairly really feel the similar. Sure there have been some nostalgic scenes and the Burial at Sea DLC allow us to pop in as soon as once more, however we wish to return correctly this time.
Perhaps BioShock 4 might see us returning to a new Rapture, one which society has tried to reclaim and spruce up following the occasions of the earlier video games. If not, then we would love one other splendidly atmospheric metropolis in an identical vein.
Big Daddies and Little Sisters
Sure, they seem to be a bit creepy however we love them. More importantly, they seem to be a huge a part of why many people love BioShock however weren't actually huge gamers in BioShock: Infinite. We hope to see them return in the subsequent one.
Explore the lore extra
While it may possibly typically be complicated, BioShock's lore and narrative is intriguing and we love the webs which were weaved throughout the earlier video games. We're hoping 2K attempt to construct extra on it, maybe throwing in some extra twists.
New Vigors
An enormous a part of what makes BioShock a lot enjoyable are the Vigors you possibly can mess around with. While it will be nice to see the return of our favorites, we need some new Vigors to check out and mix.
