Amla Navami Puja Vidhi

On Amla Navami, the devotees take bath early in the morning and worship the Amla tree while facing towards the east. The observer then starts their fast by taking water, rice, flowers etc in their right hand. After that light an incense and lamp at the foot of the tree as well as they take 7 rounds of the tree at the same time performing the aarti.

After performing the aarti, they feed the priests under the tree along with that they also donate them as per devotee’s potency followed by reciting the katha. If in any case you do not have or didn’t find any Amla tree in your or near garden, then you can plant a small Amla plant in a pot and can then start your prayer.
