100% Kadhal Tamil movie review and rating – Socially Keeda

The successful love story 100% Love by Telugu director Sukumar from 2011 has been remade in Tamil as 100% Kadhal. The film features the popular music director who has played actor GV Prakash Kumar in the lead role and Shalini Pandey as the female lead. Directed by debutante MM Chandramouli, 100% Kadhal is produced by Sukumar and Bhuvana Chandramouli.

100% Kadhal is about the story of Balu Mahendra who has always been a winner at school and university. Mahalakshmi, who is from a village, is his cousin, comes to stay with Balu and his family and goes to the same school as Balu. The cat and mouse game between Balu and Mahalakshmi competing in college and how they eventually fall in love and get married makes up the rest of the film.

GV Prakash Kumar plays the role of Balu originally played by Naga Chaitanya. Shalini Pandey, who rose to fame with the Telugu hit movie Arjun Reddy, plays the role of Mahalakshmi in the movie. Tamannah who played the role in the original was first approached, but she turned down the role. 100% Kadhal also plays Satish, Shivani, Rekha, Manobala, Thalaivasal Vijay and Senior actors Nasser and Jayachitra in supporting roles.

The film’s music was composed by GV Prakash Kumar herself and the cinematography was done by Ganesh Rajavelu. Assembly is provided by Mu. Kasi Viswanathan and the art department are headed by Thota Tarani.

Sukumar, who directed the original, came forward to produce the Tamil version in his production banner Creative Cinemas NY and co-produced by Bhuvana Chandramouli under the NJ Entertainment banner. 100% Kadhal is due out in Dushera’s party season and is expected to perform well at the box office as the film was already successful in Telugu.

100% Kadhal Movie Review

100% Kadhal is 100% entertainer. With a beautiful story of Sukumar in place, director MM Chandramouli does a great job recreating the magic. Both GV Prakash Kumar and Shalini Pandey give their best to their characters.

The lecture scenes in the first half and the romance between the two protagonists is the best part of the movie. Because it is a good story, the film never loses contact with the audience. You’re engaged to the movie until the end.

Not only as a male protagonist, but also GV Prakash Kumar impresses us with his music. The original album was a hit in Telugu and GV Prakash did a great job in Tamil. Ganesh Rajavelu’s visuals deserve special mention.

Overall, the movie is a great replica and is expected to do well just like the original. Watch this movie even though you’ve seen the original, it still feels fresh and beautiful.
